She is a native speaker and has a very structured style of teaching. She ensured that I understood and mastered the basics of the Dutch grammar, while constantly building up my vocabulary and encouraging me to speak freely
In our conversational classes she tailors her teaching to our needs and is very encouraging with her feedback but also appropriately challenging.

Melanie is the 3rd Dutch teacher I’ve worked with and she is by far the best teacher I have had. In November 2020, I started having Dutch lessons with her to improve my grammar and speaking level for my internships in the Netherlands
I had improved so much that I continued with Melanie to prepare for the NT2 exams. At the end of 2021, I was able to complete the B2 exams and pass
Melanie personalises her lesson plans to suit your goals and learning style. I am not the most confident language learner but Melanie is patient, encouraging and pushes you to do your best
I still do lessons with Melanie and I highly recommend her as a Dutch teacher! “
